Pei-Fen (turtlewithpen), born and grew up in Taipei city, is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. In 2022, she moved from the North to the South of Taiwan (Pingtung) for love. After studying Law for a long while, she came to study MA Graphic Design at Edinburgh College of Art, however, doing illustrations all the time.

She loves and shines at combining hand-drawn textures and digital collage to create mood and atmosphere in drawing. Sometimes, she enjoys exploring mixed media and adding different materials from her surroundings. Pei-Fen tends to perceive self-emotions and observe little tiny things from daily life. To her, having fun, doing for fun and making things interesting is important.

She illustrates for picture books, textbooks, product packaging, key visuals, animations and the indigenous cultural traditions. She gets pleasure from self-publishing her works. Books, zines, calendars and pop-up cards can be seen in her self-projects.
